Funded by two billionaires, SpaceX is a program designed to provide private individuals the experience of a ride into space at an affordable price.
Yesterday, Monday, December 21, 2015, SpaceX successfully achieved all of its objectives, launching its re-tooled Falcon spacecraft into sub space. Its first stage after launch and separation from the second stage returned to earth and its designed landing pad by flipping right side up after separation, slowly descending to its pre-planned spot on a landing pad constructed for that purpose.
