Located on Passamaquoddy Bay, Campobello Island is within the municipality of New Brunswick, Canada, on the the Bay of Fundy.  The bay experiences the greatest difference  between low tide and high tide in the world. In general, the difference is 65 feet, depending upon where the meaurements are taken.  Most of the Bay is in Canada; a small part is within the United States.,
